How to add Aerochain Testnet Network RPC to Metamask

In this article, we will learn how to add Aerochain network to your Metamask account.

How to add Aerochain Testnet networks ( manually )

Open your web browser and click on the Metamask add-on icon.

Click on your avatar on the top right corner and click on “Settings”.

Go the “Networks” then click on “Add Network”. You will be asked to fill these fields :

Network name
New RPC URL
Chain ID
Currency Symbol (optional)
Block Explorer URL (optional)

Network’s configuration list for Aerochain Testnet

To use the Aerochain Testnet network and be able to use the Aero tokens, please select this configuration :

Network Name : Aerochain Testnet
New RPC URL : https://testnet-rpc.aerochain.id/
ChainID : 788
Symbol : TAero
Block Explorer URL : https://testnet.aeroscan.id/

How to add Aerochain Testnet networks using Chainlist (Extension)

If you want to add networks to MetaMask, accessing Chainlist is one of the easiest ways to do it.

Head to the Chainlist site at chainlist.org

2. Firstly, you’ll need to connect your wallet to the site. Select ‘Connect wallet’ in the top right to do so.

When successful, your wallet address will replace the ‘Connect wallet’ button:

3. Now use the search bar to find aerochain testnet network you want to connect to. Dont forget to choose testnet section on this part. Once you’ve found it, click the button ‘Add to MetaMask’.

4. MetaMask itself will now spring into action, and will present you with an approval menu. Click ‘Approve’ to proceed.

5. This will be followed by a menu asking you whether you want to switch to the new network immediately. Confirm or reject this depending on your needs; either way, the new network will be added. Note how your currently selected network is displayed at the top.
